You could argue that no individual in the world has contributed more to the Stick pedagogy than
Greg Howard. He has been a tireless champion of Emmett Chapman's "Free Hands" method of
playing having authored three lesson books, dozens of instructional videos, and having taught
Stick workshops all over the world. He's served as a mentor to countless Stick players and it
could even be said that while Tony Levin was responsible for many players taking up the Stick,
Greg Howard was responsible for so many players keeping with it.
