Since 1974, Stick Enterprises in Los Angeles has manufactured the revolutionary Chapman Stick. Based on the two-handed tapping technique discovered by Emmett Chapman in 1969, The Stick allows you to play two parts simultaneously, like a keyboardist, but with all the expressiveness of a stringed instrument. To find out more about this amazing instrument, including a wealth of CDs by Stick artists from around the world, go to www.stick.com.

Greg has been playing The Stick since 1985 and he's been teaching Stick seminars around North America and Europe since May of 1996. These are social as much as study events, with Stick players traveling thousands of miles to hang out and exchange ideas. Other instructors have included Bob Culbertson, Teed Rockwell, Larry Tuttle, Steve Adelson, Ron Baggerman and Don Schiff. All seminars feature a Stick Night concert, giving you the chance to check out other performers on Emmett's creation. Check the events section to find out if a seminar is happening near you.
