New Recording in the Works
Greg headed into Charlottesville's Crystalphonic Studio in late March to begin a new recording project. Together with drummers Matt Wyatt and James McLaughlin, Greg laid down the basic tracks for "Tomorrow Never Knows", "Goodbye Porkpie Hat," and several other familiar and original tunes, to be released later this year. Downbeat Magazine reviews Lift CD
The Greg Howard Band CD, Lift received a nice review in the January issue of Downbeat (look for Frank Zappa on the cover). Four other CDs by Stick players were also featured. Thanks to Dave Zaworski at Downbeat and to Steve Adelson for bringing the music to their attention.
